📘 Course Overview

This blended Standard First Aid course is designed to equip participants with essential first aid knowledge and lifesaving skills through a flexible combination of online theory modules and a 1-day practical classroom session.

Participants will learn to manage common injuries, medical emergencies, and life-threatening scenarios, including CPR (Hands-Only) and AED usage, while gaining confidence to act in critical situations.

This certification is aligned with national emergency response protocols and is suitable for individuals, employers, and professionals in safety-sensitive roles. 



🎯 What You’ll Learn

  • Essentials of First Aid: Roles, responsibilities, and safety precautions
  • Primary and Secondary Survey techniques
  • Management of unconscious casualties, seizures, fainting, diabetic emergencies, and stroke
  • Airway management: Adult FBAO (conscious & unconscious)
  • Respiratory emergencies: Asthma, allergic reactions, hyperventilation
  • Bleeding control, wound care, burns, fractures, and musculoskeletal injuries
  • Eye injuries, poisoning, transportation of casualties
  • CPR (Hands-Only) and AED usage – both theory and hands-on application

🖥️ Course Format
  • Part 1: Online self-paced theory (approx. 7.5 hours)
  • Part 2: 1-day in-person practical skills training (6 hours)
  • Part 3: Theory + Practical Assessment (4 hours total)

Note: Skills session must be completed within 60 days of finishing the online module to qualify for certification.

Total Duration: Approx. 13.5 hours

  • Online Theory: 7.5 hours
  • Classroom Practical + Assessment: 6 hours + 4 hours
  • Delivered over 2 parts: Online learning followed by a single-day classroom session

📜 Certification / Accreditation
  • Upon successful completion of assessments: 
    • Standard First Aid Certificate with CPR (Hands-Only) + AED
